That’s not really a question. That’s a narration instrument. Maybe a rhetorical question, but in this context probably just a phrasing instrument to stress something.

As an Italian, we have a perverse knack for mispronouncing English names that should be no-brainers given the similarity with Italian names or words. A couple of examples:
- Raquel Welch is pronounced "ràkel" even if the Italian equivalent is Rachéle
- Elvis Presley is pronounced "prisli" even if we have words such as "presto" that should suggest "pres-"
- David Bowie is pronounced "baui", and I could go on and on...

I guess there must be more than one translation or transcreated version of Winnie the Pooh in Russian, but only one of them is known and loved by every normal person (the one by Boris Zakhoder, which I believe is even better than the original despite the fact that it fails to do justice to some of the puns). My sister once told me that Zakhoder's heirs had sued the producers of the Russian version of Disney's Winnie the Pooh for using the character names created by Zakhoder, so they came up with...
