Suddenly the DeepL MT plug-in for a supported language combination -both in memoQ and in DeepL- does not work in memoQ.
MemoQ shows the following error message:
"The MT plugin below could not get the list of supported languages or they do not support these language pairs in the project"
It then goes asking to check connection, credential and MT provider supported languages. Needless to say that these are all fine.

I'm still with v9.9 but get the same error message.
Just checked with Studio 2022 where DeepL works fine.
Same with Cafetran. So I guess it's a MemoQ issue.

...I never had problems until yesterday.
I also downloaded the latest memoQ and tried there. Same error. In that case I was using a free account just to try, but that should not make a difference. | | |

I have had the same issue since yesterday, it has entirely ruined my workflow for this weekend.
I contacted MemoQ support about it, and they replied (very quickly mind you) that

In a way it is good news even thought it is indeed seriously damaging our week end workflow.
After having looked for all kinds of solutions for hours, I also contacted memoQ.
Let's see if and when DeepL will fix it.

I recommend having a look at this little gem: GT4T can provide you with multiple MT translations in a little pop-up dialogue via a keyboard shortcut, or just replace any selected text with an MT translation, including DeepL, and many, many others.

I usually use it in conjunction with the various MT plugins in memoQ (or my other CAT tools). You can either use it on the whole segment, or on smaller selections, which can be super handy!

"Looks like that, DeepL has changed something on their and that affected the functionality in memoQ.
We've already forwarded this to our developer team and they will fix it as soon as possible.
Once they've fixed the issue, then you will receive an automatic email from our system regarding the fix.
Until that, I will change the ticket's status to "On-hold", so our email system will keep your ticket open."

I had the same problem on Saturday (was using MQ v10.2), so downloaded the latest version of MQ 11. Same problem. Contacted MemoQ and got the same reply that it was a problem on the Deepl side and that they were looking into it.
However, I also had an earlier version of MemoQ on my PC (v9) and the Deepl plug-in works fine. | | |

Whilst DeepL works with all my other CAT tools it does not with MemoQ 9.9.

When her training day naturally called for getting hands-on, I put together a couple of short tests and told her to do them in Trados. She was reluctant and said she'd already completed some tests, and then when I told her to still go ahead, the first thing she asked was where the MT was. We don't have any MT connected ... I didn't tell her anything would depend on her passing or failing the tests and was going to show her my own translations of the same passages (which were 100% hand-made, of course). They're going to release a new build that fixes the problem, but for now there's a quick fix for 11.0 and 10.2. Write a ticket to the support team to get access.
Update: Nevermind, apparently DeepL changed something else a few hours ago and now the memoQ fix is broken again...
