This is a message I got today from a gmail address...it says very flattering things but again too good to be true..there is no such thing as a CV on the Chartered Institute of Linguists directory just a summary of your fields of specialties:

Yes, I have got several like this, pretending to come from some well-known agencies or pharmaceutical companies. They always write their «surname» in lowercase letter (I wonder why…) and they seem convinced that flattery works…
