I ,Shaikh Hafizul Islam from Bangladesh, have been working as chief News Editor of Bangladeh Radio- a state media ,for 21 years with job responsibility of translation of various materials regarding news ,politics, social affairs, business, art, general science, medical science, engineering , sports, literature, music , agriculture, environment , ecology, history, journalism as well as proof-reading and editing

I have Five-year working experience with the Bangla Service of Deutsche Welle ( Radio Germany ), Bonn, Germany from 1997 to 2002 as an editor with job responsibility of mainly translating supplied materials related to news, various affairs from English to Bengali ,Bengali to English ,German to Bengali and Bengali to German, reporting and news broadcasting( voice casting) .

I also have participated in training and workshop with Deutsche Welle ( Radio Germany Bonn), BBC VOA and AIBD ( Asian Institute for Broadcasting Development) regarding news, translation, feature writing, radio programs and broadcasting journalism(voice casting).

I did a number of project of which one was done for ABU ( Asian Broadcasting Union) Malaysia on Anti graft campaign by Bangladesh Government ( An interview based feature audio production , duration -30 min.) It was translated in Bengali . The other project was a 27 min. joint co production with Radio Japan (NHK) on street children in Dhaka. It was also done both in Bengali and English.

I am a freelancer, feature writer /contributor working with a number of weekly and journals.
Currently I have been working as chief editor in English version of an online news media named " RTNN.com" side by side by main job with Bangladesh Betar ( Radio Bangladesh)

I have been graduated in the field of Agricultural Science ( B Sc Ag, Hons.) and did my Post-Graduation in Plant Bio-chemistry ( M Sc Ag ) form Bangladesh Agricultural University Mymensingh.

I did job in a Agril. research organization in my country for a couple of years . In my job with the Bengali Service of Deutsche Welle ( Radio Germany) I had the responsibility to do weekly "Science feature program" covering the whole area of latest science .

Translation is my passion as I find it an Art . I am also a National Radio Broadcaster .

Poem reciting , occasional singing , watching movie and game is my hobby.
