My professional background around Spain (born and educated), the UK (3 years), Germany (2 years an...d current location since April 2011) and France (4 years) have provided me with an efficient knowledge of each language and culture involved and all necessary skills to become a professional translator, localisation engineer and project manager.
I completed a Master in Technical Translations Tools (2007) which followed my Bachelor's Degree in English and German at Barcelona University (1996-2000). Additionally, I attended a Subtitling Course (February 2009) to deeply improve my competences in this domain, even though I had already fixed some subtitles and I am a regular subtitle specialist for SDI Media.
Occasionally, it has been an honor to me to assist in huge trade showrooms in Paris, London and Düsseldorf as interpreter, and to act as Training Team Leader during openings of new Primark stores around Spain.
I have collaborated as videogames translator and QA (Spanish localisation team) with the well-known Blizzard Entertainment headquartered in Irvine CA, and the Production Department of Square Enix (London) as Spanish videogames tester. I currently work as in-house Spanish Translator for Culturetranslate in Frankfurt am Main (Nintendo of Europe) and cooperate with different clients (e.g. Claire's) and agencies in a wide range of domains such as:
