This presentation will serve as an overview so you can take the appropriate measures to get and maintain new clients! Learning objectives: 1. Be familiar with work procedures in translation agencies 2. Understand how quality is measured in translation tests 3. Identify key elements to receive work from agencies

Speakers:	Johanna Angulo Johanna Angulo es Licenciada en Lingüística Aplicada y traductora profesional de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile. También cuenta con un diploma de postgrado en Administración de Empresas de la misma casa de estudios. Con casi diez años en la industria de la localización, ha desempeñado tareas de traducción, corrección y gestión de proyectos. También tiene experiencia como docente de traducción a nivel universitario y redactora publicitaria. Actualmente, lidera la iniciativa Jangulo.com, agencia de traducción especializada en el mercado hispano. Jangulo presta servicios a empresas de todo el mundo y ofrece una amplia gama de servicios, desde traducciones a redacción creativa. -------------------------------------------------------- With almost ten years in localization industry -performing translating, editing, proofreading and project management duties- Johanna has also experience as Translation Professor and Copywriter. She holds a B.A. in Applied Linguistics and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Nowadays, she leads Jangulo.com, a translation agency specialized in Hispanic market. Jangulo works with leading LSPs and companies from around the world offering a wide-range of services, from translation to creative writing.
