I posted recently on our new initiative to bring ProZ.com member services to more outsourcers (and in particular, desirable outsourcers). See http://www.proz.com/topic/54632
As promised there, I would like to keep you all informed of our activities in this regard. I would also like to invite participation from any members who may be interested.

Getting word out: The first of a series of releases has been posted.
We have recently published a press release. This is the first in a series of releases, the goal of which is to let more outsourcers know that direct access to translators and translation companies (ie. your services!) is available via ProZ.com. In this release, we seek to call attention by focusing on the scale of our collaborative community.
As additional releases are made, we will notify you in newsletters and on the home page.
Design: Hiring a firm to create a look-and-feel that appeals to outsourcers
We are engaging a design firm to create a look-and-feel that appeals to outsourcers, and a navigational scheme that is easy to use (for our new outsourcer platform). We invite interested members - particularly those with a penchant for design - to consider participating in a focus group to provide feedback to the design firm on behalf of the ProZ.com community.
If you may be interested in taking part in this group, please email me via my profile page and I will send more information. Thanks!
