Job Description

We are currently looking for qualified linguists for an ongoing Translation Evaluation Project. Please see the details below:

Task Overview

In this task, linguists will be presented with a source sentence and its English translation. The objective is to evaluate how accurately the translation conveys the meaning of the source text and assign an appropriate quality score based on the provided evaluation guidelines.

Please note that this is an evaluation task only. No translation, editing, post-editing, or written comments are required.

• Volume: 75,000 HITs, with additional batches planned throughout the project.

What is a “HIT”?

A HIT (Human Intelligence Task) refers to a single evaluation unit consisting of one source sentence and its corresponding English translation. Each HIT is reviewed independently and assigned a quality score according to the project’s evaluation guidelines.

Requirements

• Native speaker of the source language with strong English proficiency, or native English speaker with strong proficiency.
• Previous experience in translation, revision, linguistic QA, MTPE, or translation evaluation is an advantage.
• Selected linguists will be required to complete a free online certification on the OneForma platform before gaining access to the production tasks.
