Bio:I started my career in Journalism (MA degree from Sofia University, Bulgaria). From 1991 to 1994 I worked as a journalist and editor in chief of a weekly newspaper. In 1994, I moved to the Netherlands where I worked mainly as a Technical Support Engineer for Sybase Inc..., an American software company. For the work I performed there my language skills (Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish) were of great importance.
Since 2004 I work full time as a translator and interpreter. I translate from English and Dutch into French.
My work as a translator is characterized by accuracy, punctuality, and flexibility. The bulk of my work focuses on policy documents in the area of development, but I have also worked on a number of social scientific, financial, technical, statistical et agricultural texts.
Working with languages is more than a job for me; it is my passion.
