Dear Sir/Madam,
This is Jessie from China. I am a native Chinese living in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China. I graduated from Sichuan University with English major in 2007. I have CATTI-II Certificate(China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters, launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Personnel of the People’s Republic of China).
I am a professional freelancer of English to Simplified Chinese and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) to English translation, proofreading and subtitling translation in terms ofIT, gaming, law (general), medical (general), E-learning, marketing, technical, mechanical, general, etc for more than 9 years.
I have processed more than6 million words so far. Trados, Memoq, Memosource, Crowdin, etc. are the tools that I use. Also, if possible, I'd love to learn new tools.
My rate expectation:
0.04-0.08 USD/English word (translation)
0.02-0.06 USD/English word (proofreading & edition)
0.02-0.04 USD/English word (MTPE)
2.00-8.00 USD per minute
Output:
Translation: around 3,500 words per day
Edition(MTPE): around 5,000 words per day
