Blair Denholm is a NAATI Professional Accredited Translator (also known as Level III accreditation) with a wealth of experience as a translator of the Russian language. He has an honors degree in Russian language and literature from the University of Queensland, and a diploma from the A.S. Pushkin Institute in Moscow.
Blair started learning Russian at the University of Queensland at the age of 17 with no prior background in the language, however as little as seven years later he was working as a Russian translator for the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), an international body established under the auspices of the United Nations. He remained with CCAMLR for 13 years before starting his own business. In 2012 he returned to CCAMLR.
Over the years, Blair has undertaken many freelance translating and interpreting jobs,including the translation a large archives of scientific articles and patents, and interpreting assignments for government and the private sector.
