* PERSONAL DETAILS.

I was born in Toronto Canada in 1981, with an Italian family background. At age 7 I moved to México where I grew up and finished school. I have both Canadian and Mexican nationalities. Although I have lived in México almost all my life, Italian and English languages continue to be the main languages of my home.

* WORK.

I started working as a freelance translator in the year 2000, translating school projects from Spanish to English.
In 2004 I started working with my first translation agency.
At present I work full time as a translator and translate more than 1 million words per year.
My work is divided about equally between agencies and direct clients. I work with agencies throughout North America, and my direct clients include: international organizations, multinationals, academics & publishers. I have worked with clients from all corners of the globe.

Having studied in Mexico and Canada, I have a very strong command of English and Spanish in various contexts.
