SDLX Lite - Cannot open a document

Hello colleagues,

I have Windows XP, and SDLX Lite 2005, as well as 2007 edition.
I received source and translated files in .ITD format, for proofreading in SDLX lite.

there are 13 files. I can open all the source files, however, for the translated files, i could only open 3 files, and the when i try to open the other files, i receive the error message "The document is not compatible with SDLX Lite".

Any help?

This happens to me from time to time Apr 4, 2009

It seems that some ITD files have to be prepared in a special way for use with SDLX Lite. A seasoned PM would know what to do but you always discover problems like this on Saturday.

It seems the problem happened with the .itd files you have received. Most probably the agency has created the files with common SDLX Trados. But SDLX lite is not compatible with the files generated by SDLX or SDLX-trados. Only the itd files generated by SDLX Elite version are compatible with SDLX Lite.

So ask your agency to send itd files from SDLX Elite or simply Excel file of the document in which you can put your translation.
