| Checked in | Andrea Maldonado Technical, Climate change, Development Guatemala Native in Spanish Freelancer and outsourcer | Bio: I am an agricultural engineer with a Ph.D. in Genetics, specialized in plant molecular biology. Since language has always been my true passion, after 15 years of work in agricultural research, both in the field and in the lab, I decided to shift my career towards transl...ation. I consider that the task of conveying the true meaning of an idea from one language to another is not only an art, but implies a great responsibility, since the use of a term that sounds artificial or changes the meaning of the text might cause the reader to question not only the author and the quality of his work. As a researcher, I am a meticulous person that places a lot of attention to detail, and with my education and experience in biological sciences I can grant you will always find the proper terms and fluidity in your texts. I have experience translating technical and scientific manuscripts for academic publication, as well as for international organizations.More Less |
