★ First class honours degree in Multilingual Studies (French, Italian, Spanish) from Royal Holloway, University of London, with distinctions in spoken French and Italian

I am a native speaker of British English and am fluent in written and spoken French, Italian and Spanish. I have lived and studied in both Italy and Spain. I have Belgian heritage and my love of languages was inspired by my many childhood visits to Brussels to visit family.

I have over 16 years’ experience in the translation industry and have been translating full-time since 2010. I specialise in financial and environmental translation and translate from French, Italian and Spanish into English. I am a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists for all three working languages and a holder of the Chartered Institute of Linguists’ Diploma in Translation.

I work with high quality translation agencies and a number of direct clients, with an end-client base ranging from individuals, startups and SMEs to FTSE 100, Fortune 500 and Euronext-listed companies.

When not actively translating, I also provide a host of translation-related services including editing, proofreading, machine translation post-editing, quality assurance checking and US-UK English localisation.

I am especially effective in balancing multiple projects and constantly shifting priorities, and work well under pressure. I am organised, reliable and pay great attention to detail.

I look forward to establishing strong ties with companies, organisations and individuals requiring translation services from French, Italian and Spanish into English.
