setup and teardown activities related to an event Hi, the original mentions ... la organización de una fiesta colectiva para niños. It sounds like an event, in which case, according to my personal experience, calls for "setup" and "teardown" activities carried out by persons (human resources).

It has been commented that set-up and dismantle (take down) is bad English. It is concise English. I venture to say that arreglo y desarreglo is bad Spanish or very imprecise for the application. It should say something like montaje y desmontaje instead.

Estoy de acuerdo contigo, Lydianette. Creo que sería algo como setting up and cleaning up. Por el momento no se me ocurre otra frase para cleaning up.

Based on the context, I think that organization is Ok. but desarreglo, I guess, taking into account that it is a collective birthday celebration, it refers to removing all the decorations, returning chairs and tables to the "renting company", etc. Having said so, any idea of 'desarreglo'?
