I had worked on it earlier anyway and and have used:
"..., and will always be, in the smart perspective, an issue over which we must not dally."
i.e. when I closed there had only been one person that had bothered to contribute and nobody had agreed, disagreed or commented by that time - unfortunately that was not an answer I could use.
