If I remember traenza correctly, it's making a payment when you don't know the Iban or bank details of the person. In this case Drawing Cheque would be correct, or Banker's draft. This is a previous explanation found for assegni di traenza:
"Special cheques that can have an expiry date of 60, 90 or 120 days, non-transferable, and sent directly to the beneficiary instead of a bank transfer" So, almost a hybrid between cheques and bank drafts".
