French term

option discpl

French to English Other Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs University transcripts
On a French university transcript the course description reads "Option de langue vivante ou francais 6 ou option discpl".
Any idea what discpl stands for?

Thank you!

discipline

It's probably "discipline non linguistique". So you could translate it as "non-language option".

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : Yes for "discipline/disciplinaire". Hwvr, nothing in ST to suggest "non linguistique". The ref. is for the Bac, but the ST is uni. I'd advise against using "non-language option" as we don't know. The same abbreviation works : "discipl option".
