Incurred or Incurred Date means the date when the medical or dental services giving rise to a medical or dental expense are performed and not on the date when such services are billed by the service provider or paid by the participant.
Even though my text is not medical in nature (like the definition above), I believe the meaning of the phrase is valid in other fields as well. So: the date when a service is provided/goods are delivered, and not the date of issuing the invoice, or paying for it.
I am grateful for any suggestions.
