English term

disenfranchisement

English to Croatian Medical Psychology STS and PTSD
By overfunctioning, the woman not only increases her own stress but also adds to the disenfranchisement of her husband from the family. Her efforts to fulfill roles traditionally held by the husband may be seen by him as evidence that she believes him to be incapable of carrying out his role (Bleich, Garb & Kottler, 1986; Solomon, 1988). Alternatively, he may also contribute to his own disenfranchisement by abandoning those roles when he sees her as willing to take them on (DeFazio & Pascucci, 1984).

oduzimanje prava glasa

u smislu da time što žena preuzima na sebe poslove i dužnosti supruga, oca i slično, time mužu oduzima prava glasa unutar obitelji, čime ga stavlja u nepovoljan položaj.
