arm Explanation: "предмишница" is "forearm", so "мишница" is simply "arm". This term is ised as an anatomical part (from shoulder to elbow). It would be an "armpit" if it is referring to the place where you spray your deodorant. In this case the proper term in Bulgarian is "ПОДмишница", but also referred to as "мишница" in colloquial speech. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 33 mins (2023-09-28 20:03:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The arm proper (brachium), sometimes called the upper arm,[4] the region between the shoulder and the elbow, is composed of the humerus with the elbow joint at its distal end. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2023-09-28 21:24:25 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Noun 1. arm - a human limb; technically the part of the superior limb between the shoulder and the elbow but commonly used to refer to the whole superior limb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arm |
