DPN Explanation: I think it does refer to diabetic peripheral neuropathy, as this has implications for current and future medical and nursing care, such as using devices to alleviate pressure on the skin when the patient is in bed, or prescribing treatment for ulcers. This would fit with the other two items in that sentence - "no DPN" is effectively saying that the patient has been examined for this and there is no need to take any medical or nursing steps at present.
