The event of limb fracture was reported by a 79-years-old woman who was randomized to Lucentis® group. After approximately 1 month from the second dose of study drug, the subject fell down at her home and was subsequently diagnosed with left knee joint linear fracture. The subject’s magnetic resonance imaging revealed mild depression of lateral condyle of tibia along with associated marrow contusion. The subject was discharged after 4 days of hospitalization. The event of limb fracture was considered as ongoing at the time of discharge. The event was later (approximately after 5 months of discharge) reported as resolved.

  -> Речь идёт об изменениях на МРТ: депрессия мыщелка - это смещение вниз, а термины "компрессионный" (в результате сдавления) , "импрессионный" (в результате вдавления) используют для классификации переломов. Рентгенолог описывает снимок

В соответствии с новыми требованиями к терминологии такие переломы рекомендуют называть импрессионными (по сути они сопровождаются депрессией - опусканием, вдавлением).

neutral  Doctor Alex: О том, какой это перелом - компрессионный или импрессионный перелом, пусть спорят травматологи, а у нас речь идёт о смещении мыщелка.
