We used a cohort comprised of individuals at-risk for developing psychiatric conditions, as well as typically developing participants. Core autistic traits, as measured by the SRS in the form of social deficits, are often concomitant with behavioral traits varying in type and degree (which frequently indicates the presence of a comorbid psychiatric disorder) thus further complicating the characterization of ASD. To this end, all participants were submitted to an unsupervised clustering analysis on behavioral dimensions, which ultimately uncovered three distinct subgroups.

agree  Nicolas Gambardella: Le "clustering" est en effet un type de classification, mais pas le seul. C'est en fait un type de classification basé sur les distances, elles-même un sous-ensemble des classifications.
