I'm unsure of the verb: prendere or fare, but I am quite sure of the 'atto' as it is the same in other Romance languages e.g. prendre acte de in FRE.
Example sentence:

Che ne pensi? Non credo che il termine abbia un particolare significato tecnico, in questo contesto.
