1.0 Introduction
This document contains the calculations for the steel to steel connections from Tower level L48 to L51, excluding the fin stub connections at outer side, fin stub connections at inner side, and the additional floor bracing connections as per Buro Happold (BH) drawing S175, which are submitted as separate calculation reports.
The location of the connections is shown in the key plans provided in Section 7 of this report. The connections are grouped together based on the sizes and design forces of the connecting steel beams, supporting elements, and the applicability of the connection geometry at certain locations.
The connection configurations have been designed to resist the design forces provided in Buro Happold (BH) drawing S310 (Revision 19 - dated 6th March 2015 ) with consideration to all the notes stipulated and the beam ends fixities discussed with BH through Video Conference.
