: Not anything to do with someone called 'Humbucker'; if it is indeed for mouting the pickups, this ring is not really 'de', but rather 'pour', unless we say 'de micro humbucker'

I agree that "platine" is not correct here. "Cadre" is the most commonly used term by pros.
