English translation: transmitral flow velocity measurement gives unreliable values

German term or phrase: nicht sicher verwertbar
Still proofreading the report...

DE: "Transmitraler Fluss nicht sicher verwertbar."

EN: "Transmittal flow not reliably usable."

(Forget "transmittal", that's clear.)

"No reliably usable" sounds awful. But I cannot think of an elegant way of saying this.

Any creative ideas ?

Thanks!"

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  Steffen Walter: "Nicht sicher verwertbar" is the same as "nicht sicher beurteilbar", in my view. In other words, an unclear/inconclusive finding/result re. the transmitral flow profile/velocity.

Asker: I awarded points to andres-larsen for his answer came first and was actually correct, but thank you for clarifying that verwertbar=beurteilbar in this case. This is what I wasn't sure about.

unamenable to safe & secure use

Explanation:
Remember the adjective of un/amenable: file mentally or enter in a glossary for 'safe & secure future use and ref.' - or, as my Scottish acquaintance from Edinburgh used to exhort me: 'stamp that word on yer .... for'ead !'

Illegally obtained evidence in Germany-speaking countries is classed as 'nicht vewertbar' - unusable but may be if actually admitted.

Example sentence(s):
  • Case report An ingested mobile phone in the stomach may not be amenable to safe endoscopic removal using current therapeutic devices: A case report

not enough/reliable /not reliably measurable (bu an echochardiography machine)

Explanation:
More context is needed. As it is, I would think the text may be referring to the fact that the blood flow through the mitral valve could not be reliably measured (through ultrasound). Or else, it could not be enough for the needs of the cardiovascular system (as per disturbances on the aortal valve, such as mitral stenosis and/or reflux). Or both.

Sorry, typo: "not reliably measurable (BY an echocardiography machine)

Example sentence(s):
  • Reste, Abfälle [noch zu etwas] verwerten etwas ist noch zu verwerten.
  • Der Körper verwertet die zugeführte Nahrung (gewinnt aus ihr die für ihn nötigen Nährstoffe)
