Bus/Financial - Law: Taxation & Customs / Dutch pay slips
Dutch term or phrase: Verg. eigen vervoer bel.
I am translating some Dutch pay slips (monthly).
One of the line items is this:

"Verg. eigen vervoer bel."

I understand "eigen vervoer" as "own transport, automobile", and assume "bel." means taxation.
Any solution to the whole phrase?

Thank you!

Reimbursement of tax on own transportation
Explanation:
Verg. - Vergoeding - reimbursement
Bel. - belasting - tax
I read it as being reimbursed for the taxes on personal transportation [for work purposes, I am sure].

own car tax payment/allowance

Explanation:
Vergoeding.
I assume they're reimbursing part of the employee's vehicle tax as the car is partly used for business purposes.

Or, to spell it out in more detail, "tax reimbursement for business use of personal car".

Transportation/mileage allowance subject to payroll tax

Explanation:
This payslip item refers to the allowance received by employees for using their own transportation (for work-home commute) and, more specifically, to the part that is subject to payroll tax (i.e. wage tax and national insurance contributions).

In the Netherlands, this type of allowance is a mileage allowance so this is basically about 'het belaste deel van de (uitgekeerde) kilometervergoeding' (versus 'het onbelaste deel van de kilometervergoeding').
