In those with a history of treatment-resistant depression (TRD), LAC was lower in females and those experiencing emotional neglect.

neutral  Boris Shapiro: Кто именно кем тут "эмоционально пренебрегает"? В оригинале всё однозначно, а в предложенном переводе, по-моему, нет. Можно испытывать пренебрежение к кому-то. Можно даже к самому себе. Но если со стороны других, то это нужно отдельно лексически оформить.
