The following ECHO views are required; however additional views or off axis views showing abnormalities should be obtained at the discretion of the sonographer/cardiologist.

PLAX of Left Ventricle (LV)
View must show LV, Left Atrium (LA), Mitral Valve (MV), Aortic Valve (AV), the mid and basal segments of the posterior and interventricular septal walls
PLAX LV, Color Doppler through MV/MR
PLAX LV, Color Doppler through AV/AI
Parasternal Short Axis (PSAX)
PSAX, Level of LV Base (view must show aortic/pulmonic/tricuspid valve)
PSAX, Level of LV Base, Color Doppler through AV
PSAX Level of LV Base, Color Doppler through TV
PSAX Level of LV Base, Color Doppler through PVPSAX, Continuous Wave Doppler through Tricuspid Valve (TV)
