: Hi Taña. I'm not sure this is the same thing. Double shift means one lot of students in the morning and a different lot in the afternoon, but jornada doble is same students morning and afternoon, instead of just morning or just afternoon.

: I have translated several transcripts from Guatemala, including from this school. The jornada is referring to the student in question, not the whole school. The student attended in the morning or evening. In this case, the student attended both shifts.
