Portuguese term

Tenho por procedimento não indicar totalmente

Non-PRO Portuguese to English Marketing Marketing Customer satisfaction survey for gas supplier
Hi Everyone,

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me work out the meaning of this phrase.

It comes from a customer satisfaction survey about a gas supplier.

The question was:

"What is the main area where {gas supplier} needs to improve to make you more likely to recommend {gas supplier}?

And the whole answer was:

"Tenho por procedimento não indicar totalmente"

This is from Brazil and is to be translated into UK English.

Many thanks for your help! :)

I usually don't make recommendations.

My interpretation of 'indicar' here is 'to recommend.' The 'totalmente' is what's throwing the whole thing off here. Anyway, that's my suggestion.

Maybe 'totalmente' here means 'never' and in that case I would suggest...

I make it a habit of never recommending anything.

It is my procedure not to disclose all of it./I make it a point not to disclose all of it.

Acho uma resposta meio arrogante, mas é mais ou menos isso.
