Hello, could anybody help me with this term? The "shopping psychology" has been described by one article on the topic as a rather "young science", this is maybe why I couldn't find any indication as to how it is used in German.

In the translation it appears in a question about how a certain product answers to the shopper mission. The answer then goes: Highly versatile and with universal appeal, it has a bold, characterful flavour.

Does anybody know if there is a German term for this one or if it is used in English per default? I have found some entries on "Shopping mission", but I'd be happy about more input from your side.

Ich denke nicht, dass es hier einen feststehenden Begriff im Deutschen gibt. "Intention" wird in der Psychologie oft verwendet. Deswegen denke ich passt er ganz gut.
