Japanese to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
会社のこの8年間の目を見張るような展開というものについて、あなたのイメージとかぶってくるんです。
This is from an interview. The reporter is praising this interviewee's (company president's) accomplishments. I'm having difficulty figuring out how to phrase this. Is he just saying that the amazing developments are what he'd expect from this amazing guy?

: Yes, I think this is a good one. "reflective of" may also be good. What it means is that they are very similar, one reminds the speaker of the other. They sort of mirror each other. See how it is used here: http://www.zak-motor.com/news/100000001200/

: how about "vindicates" for a more vigorous comparison between what could be 'Legend' (if not myth) and Reality? That would be a real compliment, wouldn't it? :-) OOps! Apologies. this cannot work here> (different agents: coy/industry leader)

Thanks for your suggestion, but I would prefer to use "suggestive/reflective/reminiscent of".

Comment: "Thank you. I had used "overlap" for the exact same word a couple of lines earlier, and for some reason it just didn't sound right to me in this sentence. I like "reflective of.""

overlap (with your image)
In this case かぶってくる means "overlap" and then the last part of sentence will be "overlap with your image"
