It seems that it's a literal translation of the English speaking well know term "good title".....Apparently it's not that often that you see it in PT.

| Thanks Gilmar! I researched this and 'assurance' seems to be associated with insurance companies and real-estate. In this case, we're talking about a distributor that sells wine. I also saw that 'good title' seems to appear solo in relation to other purposes. Maybe I'll just use Good Title (it's a subtitle under Guarantee). |

: '(further) assurance' both in US and UK law is about the seller supplying missing deeds and docs. to remedy omissions in a conveyance of land.//I take your point. But assurance triggered a 'further' widening to my mind. Neutral does not mean a disagree.

Kindly observe that my suggestion is "assurance of good title" not "further assurance" which we both know is quite different.

Warranty of title
The word guarantee can be translated literally as 'guarantee' or 'warranty' and the concept of 'good title' is really the same that is that the seller has the right to sell the goods in that it is the owner and has the legal and patent rights.
