English term

PPP

English Medical Medical: Instruments inhalers
A green background on the indicator means there are between 120 and 50 puffs remaining. Once there are 50 puffs remaining, the dose indicator will begin to turn to yellow. When the indicator starts to turn red, there are 30 puffs or fewer remaining and a replacement HDI will be required soon. Do not continue to use the HDI once the indicator reads zero. Even if the HDI appears to PPP

Hai Muhammad, can you give us more explanation? Syukran.
Jennifer Levey May 18, 2015:
@Asker Has it occurred to you that 'PPP' might be an OCR error, where the original text actually says "... if the HDI appears to PUFF"?
lorenab23 May 18, 2015:
@ asker I would leave it as is, whoever is using the inhaler, regardless of the language will either see zero or the letters PPP, if you translate it, it will not match what the user sees. Also most indicators are counters so it may just reset to PPP without really meaning anything. My two cents :-)
Muhammad Said (asker) May 18, 2015:
Thank you but I am asking about PPP. What does it stand for?
Helena Chavarria May 18, 2015:
High Dose Inhaler maybe?
Muhammad Said (asker) May 18, 2015:
Yes, it is an inhaler for asthma.
zebung May 18, 2015:
Is this for an inhaler (asthma)? What does HDI stand for?

inhibitor picropodophyllin

There is close connection between HDI, PPP and asthma. These sentences were discussing about asthma because they mentioned about puff which is quite close with inhaler.

I browse the full name of HDI, my instinct says that it is actually one of the inhibitor to combat asthma. Herewith I found PPP which is also material as part to control asthma.

(The explanation for this question is short, and my answer is based on prediction and I believe other colleagues could have better explanation and answer).

Thanks.

My reference
Example sentence:

The HDAC inhibitor LBH589 enhances the antimyeloma effects of the IGF-1RTK inhibitor picropodophyllin
