At least, they didn't make me a laughingstock in a tourist resort loaded with livestock. Explanation: Assuming that "σκυλιά" means ugly, perhaps low-life and sexually provocative women (definition documented in Λεξικό Κοινής Νεοελληνικής) or low-life, uneducated people or rednecks in a broader sense, you can use "livestock" which on one hand, according to the Urban dictionary, denotes such women and on the other hand, can also provoke to the reader the image of people behaving like animals. At the same time, you have two words ending in -stock and an alliteration of "l" (laughingstock - livestock). http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/make oneself or somethin... http://www.greek-language.gr/greekLang/modern_greek/tools/le... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=livestock |

fool Explanation: I wasn't made to look like a fool in a resort full of fools. Another option would be: I didn't go to the dogs in a resort full of dogs. go to the dogs = become ruined dog = a person regarded as unattractive or uninteresting |
