Discussion

Marcela Bigardi Oct 11, 2013:
Concordo com a Marlene. No Brasil não falamos esfregona e sim esfregão. E concordo também com Tobias. Não precisa ser literal.

mop sink No need to take 'mop sink' too literally. It just means utility sink so you could say 'tanque' or any other euphemism for a place to dump liquid that's not too full of crud. If the setting is in fact a commercial kitchen, 'ralo do chão' might also suffice.
Marlene Curtis Oct 11, 2013:
No Brasil mop é "esfregão" (vassoura de pano).
Nick Taylor Oct 11, 2013:
I dunno what it's called but... it's one of those small "lavatorios" to squeeze out a "esfregona"

Pia para água de faxina/pia para água de limpeza

No Brasil diríamos pia para água de limpeza/faxina que se coloca no cháo e onde se torce o esfregão para retirar água suja.
