Shareeah compliant dress
Explanation:
Sharee`ah compliant dress

Since there is nothing called زي شرعي in literal meaning because Sharee`ah does not specify a certain kind of dress to be worn, rather it imposes a set of rules and regulations to be observed in any dress or wear.

I am afraid if we say Islami or religious dress, it may imply that there is a kind of uniform imposed by Islam upon Muslim men and women like that of priests and nuns for example

to Fida:

No other religion uses the word Shar`i that is why is specific for Islamic way of dress. The word religious has other connotations such as being worn by a liturgy or a religious group, unlike the general Islamic concept of wearing decent and modest dress that maintains certain conditions

religiously-licit wear

Explanation:
أي اللباس المباح حسب الشرع، وقد اقترحت تضمين
religiously

disagree  Mohamed: I like the answer, but it all depends on context. I believe the context above is more about Islam, hence Mr. Saleh's answer is more accurate in this context. Your answer is more generic. Asker can decdie.

-> I agree that my answer lacks referring to Islam in particular, however I'm not sure if "shar'ee" can't refer to other religions in a different context. Perhaps a colleague could enlighten us here. Thanks for your opinion :)

neutral  Fida Malki (X): That's well however, what are we to understand from the word Shar`i? Does another religion besides Islam use that term? Thanks for the further discussion however what is meant by shar`i remains "Islamic-religious dress" therefore I stand by my point :)

-> thanks a lot for your input, the context here is talking about Shar`i dress specifically, not about religious or Islamic symbols in general. I also used to work with American & British editors and used to approve this translation :)// See my note above
