C'est le nom UICPA des éthers R-O-R', ici est est le groupe chlorométhyle (-CH2Cl) et R' le groupe méthyle (-CH3). Certains écrivent dans les brevets "chlorométhylméthyléther", tout attaché, personnellement je n'aime pas bien mais c'est accepté. Parfois j'écris aussi "éther de chlorométhyle et de méthyle" pour rester plus près du texte si on me le demande
