Il s'agit d'une boutique qui vend, sur le principe du dépôt-vente, des articles des grandes marques du luxe (maroquinerie, prêt-à-porter, accessoires, bijoux) en excellent état (neuf ou quasiment neufs).
Je cherche la meilleure traduction pour "dépôt-vente", "second-hand" n'ayant pas à mon sens une connotation assez "luxe".

Ces informations sont utiles, merci. Le terme "second-hand" n'avait pas une connotation luxe, comme vous dites, "pre-owned" peut très bien faire l'affaire. Cependant, cherchez bien sur Google et vous trouverez de nombreuses références à "second hand" avec "designer" qui véhicule parfaitement l'idée de luxe. On affiche presque avec fierté maintenant le terme second hand, notamment chez les branchouillards!
(Cf. 'Les yeux jaunes des crocodiles' pour une idée de l'étendu du phénomène en Angleterre, vue à travers les yeux (pas jaunes) d'Hortense, française.... à Londres).

Depending on whether you are aiming for a UK or a US market, "second hand" is not necessarily incompatible with luxury if you stick "designer" in there somewhere. Try any mix of the following and you will come up with something which should work :

designer, designer-label,
second hand, consignment, resale
clothes, clothing...

There are not such negative connotations in associating second hand and designer as you might imagine, indeed, perhaps less so now than in the past. Folk are proud to be able to pick up a luxury item at a reduced price. In a number of rather chic circles it is actually fashionable to say so...

The traditional euphemistic EN term for a depôt-vente (for garments) is a dress agency, it seems to me the term is appropriate if you are up this end o fht emarket...

Thanks, P/G! Well, I was only going on the list provided by Asker... all the sorts of things found in a UK dress agency.
neutral writeaway : not, it's for used items (not just dresses). you give it to the shop to sell (on consignment) and once it's sold, you pay them a commission out of the proceeds.

According to Asker, it appeasr ot be specifically fashion-oriented in this particular instance, and the functioning is exactly like a 'dress agency' in the UK
agree Evans (X) : A dress agency is not confined to dresses. And they work in exactly the way described - the agency bit refers to the way they are sold. The chic[er] ones are now calling themselves 'vintage shops' even if the clothes aren't all vintage.
