English term

matter

English to French Science Physics champ magnétique
Bonjour,

An account of both light propagation and of interactions which matter is sketched.

Simon Mac Jun 24, 2008:
Looks like Tony M could be right - here is an article with EXACTLY this sentence where WHICH is replaced by WITH - an amazing coincidence if it is one... http://www.quantumrealism.net/uploads/fields4.doc (see first paragraph)

English term (edited): which matter > with matter

avec la matière

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I think the problem here is a typo, and that 'which' ought to have been 'with'. It could be a dictation error, or simply a typing error wrongly corrected by a spell checker.

Of course, you could always read the rest of the article to see what they're talking about — but it seems to me that "light propagation" and "interactions with matter" would be perfectly logical, scientifically-speaking.

I do wonder, though, if this might be EN written by a non-native?
Note from asker:
I agree with you all the more that there is a concept such as : matérialisation des interactions.

neutral CMJ_Trans (X) : I added this rider to my offering but I don't think we can guess here. Client should be consulted uness the same thing crops up later and is clearer

Of course not! But I would have thought the rest of the document should readily clear up the ambiguity, since this IS, after all, what it is meant to be about!

importantes
