disagree  Andrzej Lejman: frei oznacza równiez uiszczenie wszelkich opłąt, jak cło, akcyza itd. natomiast franko oznacza wyłącznie opłacenie przewoźnego. Tak więc propozycja Joanny jest też błędna.

Najlepszym wyjściem byłoby zastosowanie terminu Incoterms DDU - delivered, duty unpaid - dostarczone, cło nieopłacone. Jest to całkowicie jednoznaczne.

Jest tu jeszcze kwestia przejścia ryzyka na odbiorcę itd. Np. w wariancie franko ryzyko związane z rozładunkiem ponosi odbiorca, natomiast w wariancie frei Haus - dostawca, gdyż te warunki przewidują, że odbiorca może natychmiast swobodnie dysponować towarem.

raczej trzeba tu wyjaśnić pojęcie "franko zakład" a nie podniecać się określeniem "frei Haus". Te pojęcia nie są mi obce, znam je z praktyki, lecz "franko zakład" faktycznie niczego tu nie mówi. "Franco" można kojarzyć na wiele sposobów, ale z odpowiednim dookreśleniem. Np. franco magazyn (frei Lager), franco magazyn dostawcy (ex warenhouse, ab Lagerhaus), franco siedziba odbiorcy (frei Haus, Lieferung frei Haus). A w tym przypadku? W zasadzie nie wiadomo. Tylko Incoterms określa jednoznacznie kto za co płaci.

podaję za słownikiem dla firm i instytucji (2004):
franko -> frei, portofrei, gebührenfrei, ohne Postgeld
franko zakład (loco zakład) -> frei Haus, frei ab Haus
Ponieważ nie wszystkim słownikom należ ślepo wierzyć, nie podaje tego jako pewnik. Jest to tylko podanie źródła. Pracując prze 12 lat w dziale eksportu i importu nigdy nie stosowałam tej wykładni, jedynie incoterms :-)
