ranged

The standard term in graphics / typography is 'ranged (left)' — AKA 'left justified' (although 'justification' can have other, unwanted connotations).

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I'm giving the points to Tony because this is the term I used. As Tony gallantly acknowledged, Martin had already referred ro "ranged" but I can't give the points to Martin as he suggested it on another post. Thank you to the pair of you (and everyone else). "

aligned

In this context "ferrée à gauche" means "aligned flush left". We could also say "alignée à gauche".
Peer comment(s):

agree Martin Cassell : or (in UK usage at least) "ranged left"

'left aligned/ aligned left flush' even better

Horizontal alignment determines the appearance and orientation of the edges of the paragraph: left-aligned, right-aligned, centered, or justified.
