I am sure you are all aware that the language list has had a duplicate entry for Persian for many years. And throughout these years, many users and moderators have raised the issue to the site staff. Unifying these duplicates is a delicate undertaking that affects most services across the site and impacts thousands of profiles. I am sure you are all aware that the language list has had a duplicate entry for Persian for many years. And throughout these years, many users and moderators have raised the issue to the site staff. Unifying these duplicates is a delicate undertaking that affects most services across the site and impacts thousands of profiles. The good news is that the change will be rolled out tonight, and affected users will be notified directly as long as they are subscribed to ProZ.com emails.

Once the change has been implemented, this will be reflected on your profile updater's Language tab: https://www.proz.com/settings/languages?#pairs



If you notice any issues with your notifications, profile settings, or access to jobs in the next 48 hours, it may be related to this update. Please submit a support request with more details and the site team will help you as soon as possible. Your report will also help improve the language unification process for future instances.
