lexical (asker) Sep 30, 2009:
Thank you, Maria José - that was my impression too from Google Images.
Veja definições do dicionário
fantoche
nome masculino1. boneco com corpo geralmente de pano em forma de luva, na qual se introduz a mão para o mover;
marioneta
nome feminino1. boneco articulado, em forma de pessoa ou animal, feito geralmente de pano e madeira, cujos movimentos são controlados por meio de fios;
lexical (asker) Sep 30, 2009:
Any difference? Do answerers see any difference between 'marionettes' and 'robertinhos'? For example, 'puppets' in English can be divided into 'string puppets' (or marionettes) and 'glove puppets'. Or are the terms used interchangeably, would you say?

robertos
