I am translating (into Hebrew) from a very bad English translation - the original being Italian.
The text is a manual for corking machines and the following is the original phrase:
Il risultato e una maggior stabilita del tappo ed una barriera al fenomeno della colosita.
It was translated as:
This will result in higher cork stability and will counter feating.
I tried, as before with this file, to find answers in the virtual dictionaries in the web but didn't find any explanation for "colosita".
