The ultimate goal of this project is the application of controllability analysis techniques over the whitewater network of a newsprint mill. A systematic procedure based on empirical and deterministic methods and that involves integration of steady state and dynamic analysis is to be developed using process simulation, process information systems, and various controllability indices such as the Relative Gain Array (RGA), Condition Number (CN), Relative Disturbance Gain (RDG), and Niederlinski Index (NI).

I do not think that it is necessary to search further. By integration processes, the initial conditions are a key point. The results of the integration are a function of the starting conditions. I believe it could be a number given to retrieve a given set of conditions (or a single condition even if these are not starting conditions). Trying to rank conditions has often no meaning at all if more tahn one condition is used.

Номер (индекс) состояния или номер условия. Есть где-то, вилимо, список условий, например, кислотность от ... до..., прозрачность от... до ... - состояние 4 (или код условий).

Ееще раз - извините за неверную версию первого раза (про число обусловленности я просто не подумал - контекст был маловат).
